Personal
I'm a native of New Jersey, living in Israel for the last 10 years. My hobbies include craft beer (drinking, not brewing), smooth bourbons, and smokey single malts. For relaxation I enjoy cooking, grilling, low-slow BBQ, and making political predictions.
Professional
After passing up law school in the US, and trying my hand at the non-profit world in Israel, I came to technical writing. As a writer, it was a natural fit in the Start-Up Nation. I love learning new technologies and playing a role in developing their documentation. I have worked at enterprise level organizations, like VMware, start ups, and done some outsourced work.
Education
I did my undergraduate work at SUNY Binghamton, where I majored in English Literature, with a concentration in Rhetorical Philosophy.
I hold an MA from the IDC Herzliya in Government, with a concentration in Decision Making Theory.
After completing my MA, I was the director of a small research institute where we conducted research on decision making of adversaries. I was also a research assistant, authoring and editing academic articles for well-known Israeli public figures, including former government ministers, supreme court justices, and leading professors.
